Protecting public health through financial sustainability.

Our country faces the challenge of aging and inadequate water infrastructure.

Our mission is to help communities find effective and innovative ways to help address the growing costs of protecting public health and the environment in a sustainable and equitable manner.

What do we do?

The Region 8 EFC provides finance-related training, technical assistance, finance studies, and other analytical support to help communities develop sustainable solutions to the critical issues associated with meeting environmental standards and goals.

How does it work?

We educate community leaders on lowering costs, increasing investments, improving financial and managerial capacity, encourage full cost pricing, and identify and evaluate financing options.

“We are committed to helping small and rural systems in Region 8 become financially sustainable.”
